Safeguarding Policy

The Bishop of Leicester, Bishop Martyn reminds us:
“The safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is at the heart of all that we are and all that we seek to be in the church.”
Our church takes safeguarding seriously.
All Saints has adopted the House of Bishops Safeguarding Policy: “Promoting a safer church”.

Safeguarding Local Contact Details
Our Promoting a safer church poster is on view in the church (it may also be viewed at this link: Promoting a safer church). It provides information on who to contact, should you want advice and assistance. It includes the details of our
Parish Safeguarding Coordinator, Helen Allen.
If you feel you are, or have been, a victim of abuse please talk to our Safeguarding Coordinator or Curate. Abuse also means Spiritual Abuse when someone uses spiritual or religious beliefs to hurt, scare or control you.
